Lizotte’s on the market

Brian Lizotte, owner of Lizotte’s, has announced that he has put his landmark Lambton venue on the market.

In a post on the Lizotte’s Facebook page on Friday Brian announced his intentions to sell the business and building that he has owned and operated for 14 years.

“To our amazing, passionate, food and music loving customers, the countless incredibly talented artists that have given their all on our stage. The fabulous agents, promoters, and managers we have dealt with over the last 14 years here at Lizotte’s at Newcastle, it is with an “excited-heavy heart” that I announce that Jo and I have made a massive decision to place the Kings Theatre and Lizotte’s Newcastle on the market for sale.

We have put an incredible amount of time thinking and talking about this and have realised that our growing family is now to be our main focus.

It is our hope to pass this iconic beautiful old venue with its world-class entertainment and fine cuisine baton onto a fabulous new operator. Someone that will continue to offer the Newcastle community and beyond more world-class entertainment and hospitality for the years to come.

Most importantly we also want to mention we will be continuing to book acts as we have always done for the time being and all shows that are currently on sale will be going ahead.

Finally, we’d like to thank our incredible and loyal staff over the years that have helped Jo and I create one of the most special world renown Dinner show Venues right here in Newcastle something we are very proud of. We so look forward to the doors of future opportunities to fly open. For now, it is business as usual, and we look forward to seeing you all soon. A world without music……..unthinkable!”
