Lambton Fire Station will hold an open day tomorrow Saturday 14th of May. Be at the Station between 10am and 2pm at 40 Young Road Lambton and meet the men and women who work at our local station. There will be live demonstration of a road crash rescue as well as multiple showings of the live kitchen fire simulator. All four of Lambton’s fire trucks* will be on display as well as vertical rescue equipment (fire fighters climbing ropes). Visitors can even have a go at using our fire hoses. A free BBQ and plenty of plastic firefighters helmets, colouring books and more will be on offer for the kids. Be sure to talk to the fire fighters about fire safety and see what they get up to.
